Upwardly Global www.upwardlyglobal.org is a non-profit that helps unemployed and underemployed refugee and immigrants from developing countries get back into their professional careers when they arrive in the U.S. Our clients were Engineers, Financial Analysts, Business Professionals and Sales and Marketing Managers in their home countries. In the U.S. , cultural differences and lack of networks keep them from getting back into these fields, and these professionals end up working as security guards, nannies and cab drivers.

Help Upwardly Global's immigrant and refugee professional jobseekers practice their interview skills to prepare them for a real job interview on Wednesday June 26th 5:30pm to 8:30pm at RHI, 50 California Street, 10th Floor, San Francisco. Volunteers do not need to have recruiting experience and will be given a brief overview on the types of questions to ask and other useful tips to interview foreign born professionals. However, we do ask that our s have at least 2-3 years of professional experience.
