How can fashion make a difference in the lives of women who are homeless?
Come to a Meet 'n Greet gathering on April 28th to find out!
Join Traveling Trousseau and Care for the Homeless in planning the 4th Annual Health Empowered Beauty Fashion Show during September 2016 New York Fashion Week.
The show features the women from Susan's Place, a 200-bed shelter in the Bronx as models! They are invited to a professional casting call, fitting, and a full makeup treatment before the show. The show features high end and up and coming designers. A few of our past designers includes Demestiks NYC, Shirley+Alice vintage & Indie designer boutique, Monif C. Plus Size, and NYU fashion design student Madeline Dolgin.
We are looking for volunteers to join our benefit committee help in several different areas: people with experience in social media and marketing, fundraising, volunteer recruitment, fashion design, event production, and film skills. Check out the committee list below and let us know if you want to get involved!
