Volunteer Opportunity description

The Queenie Foundation, Inc. is interviewing people who are willing to make a commitment for at least a year to serve as a board member.

We have several board member postitions open for event planning, fundraising, and Cat Adoption Coordinator in Manchester, CT.

As a board member who plans events, you are expected to coordinate events, have good organizational skills, speak easily to people, and direct them to literature that covers issues in which they're interested.

As a Cat Adoption Coordinator, you will be trained in screening and interviewing people, reviewing applications, share the responsibllity of home visits and completing the adoption process--adoption contract signing, etc.

We need people who are action oriented and who care sincerely about ALL animals. Being a vegetarian is not required, but encouraged (vegan is a plus) and supporting all the animal rights/liberation issues.
