Our volunteers at a time that is convenient to you, in a manner you prefer and at a fee you can afford. Several volunteers have volunteered with WWI-Ghana and many more are joining us every day. WWI-Ghana looks forward to welcoming you amongst them.

BECOME WWI-Ghana's HIV/AIDS PEER EDUCATOR/COUNSELLOR

PROJECT NAME

Eliminating the barriers to the advancement of voluntary counseling and testing through strategic community based peer education partnership.

PROJECT GOAL

To decrease the stigma and discrimination associated with HIV/AIDS through community based peer educational partnership to promote youth patronage on VCT thereby increasing universal access to treatment, care and support services.

SPECIFIC PROJECT OBJECTIVES

1.To increase youth patronage on VCT.

2.To increase universal access to treatment, care and support services for young persons infected with HIV/AIDS.

3.To increase awareness on youth friendly health messages in the context of VCT.

SPECIFIC VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENT

1. Be culturally adaptable/flexible.

2. Should be 18 years and above.

3.Be willing to serve as a role model, inspire Staffs of WWI-Ghana and raise awareness.

4. Be able to implement the specific responsibilities.

5.Be able to train Staffs /volunteers of WWI-Ghana on how to effectively conduct HIV/AIDS Counseling and Testing.

6.Should be able to facilitate lessons in English Language.
