Mock Interview and Networking Workshop Details
Date: Saturday, July 13th, 2013
Time: 11:00AM to 4:30PM (Lunch will be provided)
Location: Ed Roberts Campus, 3075 Adeline St #160, Berkeley, CA 94703
This workshop is a chance for immigrant professionals to work with volunteers on their interviewing and networking skills. The Mock Interview Workshop includes a brief volunteer orientation and two practice interview sessions where jobseekers are matched with volunteers. Volunteers are provided with a sample list of interview questions, and a resume and job description of a job the jobseeker is interested in applying for. Volunteers provide valuable feedback to jobseekers upon the completion of the mock interview. After the mock interview workshop, there will be an hour of networking, where volunteers and jobseekers get a chance to meet each other.
