Water Challenge Judge

Posted on: April 19, 2013

Description

Global Health Connections, Inc. (GHC) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing opportunities for individuals to connect, engage, and solve global health issues. Through our work locally and globally, youth and adults are learning about topics critical to the health of people throughout the world and contribute to health.

The Global Water Challenge started in 2003 as an exciting competition for middle school student teams. Teams investigate a social, economic, environmental, or health-related water issue locally, and in a developing country, and prepare an innovative solution to that specific problem in the form of an interesting, creative, and informative presentation.

Judges will be at the Finals Competition and will judge the top teams of students who will be presenting their innovative solutions in the form of a skit on Saturday, April 27th.

This is our 16th competition and we are very excited with how the program continues to grow both in numbers of participants and in quality. Over the past 10 years, the Global Water Challenge has delivered a unique educational experience to approximately 15,000 students with the help from over 200 teachers and community mentors and judges.
