Join Golden Gate Audubon in making this park better for people and birds. This is a beautiful shoreline site adjacent to Arrowhead Marsh in Oakland. See birds along the shore while hawks and pelicans fly overhead and hear Clapper Rails call in the marsh.
Saturday,October 19, 2013 from 9:30 a.m. - 12:30pm.
Wear close toed shoes, a hat, sunscreen and weather appropriate clothes that you don't mind getting a bit sandy or dirty. Bring your own gloves if you have them and a water bottle to minimize trash. We'll provide instruction, tools and snacks. Heavy rain will cancel the event. Directions: Near the Oakland Airport. Turn left onto Swan Way, and enter at the Park District's brown entrance sign on the right. Head all the way down the road to the last parking lot by the observation platform.
