norVOLution is looking for volunteers to deliver meals to area seniors. Every weekday, we provide meals to older adults in our area. Meal delivery volunteers help us ensure that older adults continue to get quality food at low prices as well as provide a "daily hello" and wellness check to our clients. Join a wonderful team of volunteers -- many who have done this for years. It is a very rewarding one-on-one volunteer experience and the time commitment is minimal.
Drivers pick up meals from Norwood Crossing each day by 11:00 a.m. Hot lunch meals are transported in heat retaining carriers and light dinners in brown paper bags. Lunch and dinner meals are labeled with the name/address of recipient. Detatiled delivery route maps are provided.
Meals are delivered Monday through Friday between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Total maximum time volunteers serve is approximately 1½ hours (11:00 a.m. thru 1:00 p.m.) per day.
