Red Sweater Project has an immediate opening for an experienced IT and Website Developer to assist the IT Director with general management, creation and design of organizational website and related online presence. Red Sweater Project's US Office is located in Portland, Oregon, however, this position allows for tele-commute.
Position Timeframe Ongoing
Time Commitment 2-5 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Work within existing, foundational content management toolsets for organizational website and related online presence
- Integration with external services, donation feature management and supporting content providers
- Assistance with technology infrastructure, implementation and management (e.g. asset library, group calendar, etc.)
- Coordinate with IT Director and Creative Director regarding website copy and design updates
- Support of graphic design and Creative Department
- Design of online marketing materials that coincide with organizational needs, including fundraising materials and related events
Qualifications
- Minimum 4-year degree Information Technology or other related field
- 2-3 years work experience in a professional office
- Proficiency in PHP, mySQL; Knowledge of both MAC and PC systems;
- Organized and good communicator
