Volunteer Opportunity description

Throughout the year, Little Brothers-Friends of the Elderly plans many outings for our elderly friends to enjoy. Many of the people we see don't get out very often. These outings may include ballgames, picnics, a fishing trip, a museum, movie & lunch and some special parties (Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, 4th of July, Halloween). We need people to drive elderly to and from these events and spend time with them at the event. At the parties we can use help with set up, cooking, clean up, and entertainment. Some events are held at our facility and others are out in the Cincinnati area community

We also need volunteers to help with our regularly scheduled monthly movie nights the last Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. We need volunteers for our art classes twice monthly on Wednesday afternoons and also on the 3rd Thursday of each month at lunchtime when our nursing home residents visit. These events are held at our facility in Colerain Township, Hamilton County, OH,

Join us in helping to relieve isolation and loneliness among the elderly population. You will make a difference and have fun in the process!
