Are you a trained engineer who's looking to use your hands to build? Are you someone who's always been handy around the house but has no formal building experience? Do you like putting things together and seeing the tangible results?
Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco invites you to be part of a unique volunteer group and become a 'Regular' Volunteer. Regular volunteers come at least once per week and receive training from our experienced staff and other trained team members. We will provide you with all the tools you need, but you are also welcome to bring your own. Join our team and meet new people, learn new skills, and give back to the community by volunteering to build new homes for low income families. You will work alongside our wonderful AmeriCorps team and the multitude of Habitat's Day volunteers.
If you are interested in becoming a Regular Volunteer and would like to learn more, please sign up for an orientation held at our construction site in Daly City by going here: http://habitatgsf.volunteerhub.com/ and searching for a New Regular Volunteer Orientation
The next orientations will be held:
Tuesday, January 29th at 6pm
Saturday, February 2nd at 11am
Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco (Habitat GSF) is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International. Habitat GSF builds affordable homes for low-income families in San Mateo, San Francisco, and Marin Counties. Volunteers are a vital part of Habitat's mission. Without the aid of volunteers, Habitat GSF would not be able to deliver the dream of homeownership to many families in the Bay Area.
