Research Institute Without Walls (RIWW) brings LGBT mental health and human rights together. It facilitates international and collaborative research and training on LGBT mental health. RIWW's community-based research brings together researchers, activists, attorneys, social workers, case workers, and clinicians who are interested in documenting the human rights, mental health needs, and resilience of LGBT persons around the world.
RIWW has two main areas of research and training: (1) the impact of human rights violations on LGBT mental health and HIV prevention; and (2) the mental health challenges and needs of LGBT asylum seekers and refugees.
We are looking for a volunteer to help translate from Spanish for a video interview with a refugee who has fled persecution because he is gay, and translate into Spanish materials on LGBT refugee mental health and human rights.
Please contact us with a cover letter and CV at info@riww.org to help the improve the lives of LGBT persons who are suffering from human rights violations and fleeing anti-gay persecution.
Please send email and CV to info@riww.org
