The Palms NC has created a team for volunteers to participate in the Greater LA Homeless Count. This is a one-time volunteer opportunity and most Palms-area participants will serve on the evening of Wednesday, January 30, 2013, beginning at 8pm.
This effort is important for the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority to accurately represent LA's homeless population on grant applications to the Federal Government, in order to justify receipt of federal funds for various social services for homeless individuals and families.
