JF&CS Visiting Moms is looking for volunteers to serve new moms in communities on the North Shore. Visiting Moms matches experienced mothers with new mothers who would benefit from a supportive connection. The Visiting Mom volunteer, who receives training and ongoing supervision from JF&CS staff, provides supportive visits to the mother of a newborn once a week until the baby's first birthday. The "North Shore" Visiting Moms group meets for supervision in Danvers biweekly on Thursday mornings.
Interested in volunteering? Visit www.jfcsboston.org/volunteer and fill out our volunteer registration form to begin the process.
