It's that time of year again! The days are getting longer and warmer, flowers are blooming, and we've all been inside for far too long! Come out and spring clean for a cause!
Ardmore Enterprises, Inc, is a local non-profit that provides a full range of services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We also own and run thirteen homes where many of the individuals receiving our services live. These homes are always in need of repairs and cleaning, and we've picked one home in Bowie to receive a spring cleaning overhaul this May!
We're calling for everyone who's up to the challenge of cleaning and beautifying a home to improve the lives of its residents! Activities include digging up bushes, planting flower gardens, washing windows, dusting, mopping, and more! There will also be projects that can be accomplished by smaller and/or slower hands, so feel free to bring your family.
The event will take place at the home on Saturday, May 18th, 2013, from 10:00am until 1:00pm (noon), followed by a complimentary pizza lunch provided by Ardmore's Department of Facilities.
Please join us for a day of cleaning, making new friends, and improving the lives of the people living in one of Ardmore's homes!
