Volunteer Opportunity description

Have you studied tai chi and want to help elders in the community?

Low Income Housing Institute is looking for a volunteer tai chi instructor for the Bart Harvey Apartments. The Bart Harvey is permanent, subsidized housing for low income residents over age 62. With the elder population, there is a great need for gentle, age-appropriate exercise.

Our residents have requested a tai chi class. The instructor can set the day and time as long as they are able to consistently teach at least 6 weeks.
