Volunteer Opportunity description

THROW A CHRISTMAS PARTY!

Creativity and initiative are what we seek for these projects. Volunteers will help organize and lead activities to engage and entertain the residents of group homes, homeless shelters and senior centers. The DCJCC will provide games, crafts and desserts to help add to the festivities.

Join nearly 1,000 people who will share their skills and talents to bring holiday cheer to seniors, homeless men, women and children, and the homebound. Other projects throughout the day include painting a homeless shelter, preparing, serving and delivering meals, visiting, and throwing parties.

There is a nominal registration fee of $20, which helps cover the cost of the event and other community service projects throughout the year. Be part of something great this Christmas and sign up today!
