The Muskoka Foundation, also known as the "Do Good as You Go" guys, is a foundation that seeks to transform the adventure travel sector by including ethical volunteering as a standard part of every traveler's plans, and therefore create a fleet of hundreds of modern day explorers, who are traveling and developing communities around the world, leaving a wake of positive change. Hence, the concept of "doing good as you go"!
Muskoka has been doing this by connecting travelers to their local partners around the world that are doing good in their local areas, taking into account what the needs are of each local partner and what each traveler has to offer.
"If you come here to help me, you are wasting your time. But if you have come because your liberation is bound up with mine, then let us work together!" - Aboriginal Saying
One of the very unique things that Muskoka believes is that they do not charge volunteers to do good with them. Muskoka is committed to not let volunteering fees deter good-hearted travelers from doing good as they go and make positive impacts with their local partners.
They are always looking for volunteers to help their local partner in Bangkok. Thailand, with various things: teach English, admin work, and many other tasks that almost anybody can do and make difference with.
On top of that, if you have a specific skill and / or if you are a professional, Muskoka also can seek ways to leverage your skills and have you make a difference there with your skills!
An ideal candidate would be someone who has a passion to make a difference using their skills and time, who is willing to work with and/or support our local partners' work.
