This project takes place in the Arava Valley, in the Negev Desert, in the southern part of Israel.
The location is a fantastic and unique village resort built entirely from local mud and materials. It was started by a young family as a way of honoring the principles of simplisting living, and maintaining close contact with the earth.

Volunteers mainly participate in the construction and maintenance of the Eco-Village. You get the opportunity to work with earth, which is something entirely unique to other modes of construction like cement, plastering, and the like. The walls isolate heat and cold and the materials are entirely biodegradable. Steps for building include:
