Volunteer Opportunity description

Tenants in monolingual Spanish-speaking communities in California are particularly at risk of being taken advantage of by landlords and big banks. Help us reach these folks with key information about renters rights and how to get involved in the struggle expand and defend their rights.

We need your help with:

Translating outreach materials from English to Spanish (basic with some professional terms) Translating and creating newsletter and web content

You: have advanced Spanish-language skills and the ability to translate materials from English to Spanish

Translation Interns in the Bay Area also have the opportunity to help Spanish-speaking tenants through our Foreclosure Hotline. This is not required, but an additional opportunity for those who wish to utilize and expand their verbal language skills.
