Bringing great theatre into the great outdoors!
Our goal is to provide an outstanding theatre experience for young adults that will contribute to their maturity and foster a lifelong love of both theatre and the outdoors. TPE provides rigorous artistic and educational standards and has acheived numerous artistic and financial recognition in our 10 years, including:
- distinguished acting and ensemble acting awards at the Folger Shakespeare Library,
- selection by the National Endowment for the Arts "Summer School in the Arts" program,
- performances at Wolftrap's International Children's Festival.
We are looking for Board Members who are enthusiastic about our program and willing to commit a few hours each month to help Traveling Players grow. We are especially interested in those with a background in fundraising and/or marketing.
Board positions are unpaid, and those interested in serving must submit an application. Come and join the TPE family!
