Epilepsy Volunteers Needed

Seize The World empowers people with seizures to lead active and fulfilling lives through community-based programs that raise public awareness of epilepsy.

We will provide snacks and drinks at our first volunteer orientation on Saturday, January 26th from 1p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Alliance Center in Denver. We will meet in the first floor lobby. We would love to see you there and to introduce you to our great organization!

Seize The World publishes a feature article each month though our Share Your Story program about a person from the epilepsy community. Our Share Your Story Stars either have epilepsy and lead active lives or they help others to do so.

We go to events like 5K runs and farmers markets regularly to meet new people and to get new friends involved with Seize The World--especially during the summer! We also have parties and events of our own every couple of months to bring folks together and to help keep our organization running strong. Our last event was a "Squash Epilepsy" party where we gathered together a number of our Share Your Story Stars as well as our volunteers and friends who have helped to write articles and to run our events.

Our biggest needs for volunteers are for people to help with stories and also folks who are excited to help with events, like health fairs, 5Ks, etc. Whatever your interests or skills, we will certainly find a place for you to fit in!

It is a really fun organization and we are excited to meet you!

The Alliance Center is located at 1536 Wynkoop Street in Denver, CO. right next to the Tattered Cover in LoDo.
