Volunteer Opportunity description

As a volunteer with LINC you will assist in providing affordable homes and life-enhancing services to those most vulnerable in our state. Did you know that in California for a single worker making minimum wage to afford the average priced two-bedroom apartment for his or her family they would have to work over a 130 hours per week? Even with two incomes, one can see the challenges that an individual would have working 65 hours per week and still find time to raise their families, care for aging relatives, and contribute in a positive way to their neighborhoods. By joining our team and providing clerical support to our organization, Administrative Volunteers support the mission of LINC Housing to provide low-cost homes and social services to families, seniors and individuals with disabilities.

Volunteers perform general services such as:

  • Filing,
    organizing and storage duties

  • Data
    collection and data entry

  • Research
    and reporting

  • Correspondence
    and answering phones

  • Copying
    and scanning

  • Other
    basic administrative tasks

Learn new skills and have fun, all while increasing access to affordable homes for those most vulnerable in our communities!
