Volunteer Abroad in Ghana! Ghanaians are well known among travelers as being some of the most hospitable people in the world: warm, friendly, and sociable people. Ghanaians tend to take life at a relaxed pace, viewing time as a series of events rather than a matter of calendars, hours, or minutes. ELI partners with local organizations in rural and urban areas throughout Ghana to create unique volunteer and internship programs designed to give participants a cultural understanding of this incredible country.

Volunteers can help with a variety of projects including:

• Orphanages & Children's Programs
• Teaching
• Health and Medicine
• HIV/AIDS Education and Outreach
• Women's Empowerment
• Construction Projects

Accommodation: Volunteers live with local host families and share the easy rhythm of Ghanaian life.

Program Duration: 2 week minimum time commitment

Program Cost: varies depending on length of time (please inquire for specifics)

• Orientation upon arrival

Program Does Not Include:

• Round-trip Airfare
