Volunteer Opportunity description

Looking to gain experience in database design? The HandsOn Tech team at Pittsburgh Cares is looking for volunteers to help local nonprofits customize their Salesforce database and instruct them in how to best use it. The nonprofits in need of service are usually not tech-savvy, so being able to help them through the process would be appreciated. We're looking for volunteers with moderate experience navigating within Salesforce and a small to moderate amount of customization.

If you would like to volunteer, we will try to place you with a nonprofit that fits you best. Usual time commitment is around 10 hours, with an introductory/information meeting to start and a training with members of the nonprofit at the end. There will be no pay, as this is a volunteer opportunity. Thank you for considering helping out our local nonprofit organizations!
