Program Description
This placement will enable you to work in different areas of communications within Voluntario Global. From writing the blog each week and experiencing the different projects that Voluntario Global works with, to contacting media and updating the social network pages.
Volunteer Tasks
- Updating the social media pages including twitter, facebook and the blogs
- Posting information about Voluntario Global and the placements on websites that have Volunteering opportunities such as Craig's List or Idealist.org
- Contacting and liaising with media and universities
- Arranging events and acting as the main social organiser with other volunteers
- Building a good relationship with volunteers so that we can request filmed testimonials and pictures of their experience during and after their placement with Voluntario Global
- Write a monthly newsletter about: Voluntario Global news, volunteers' experiences, Voluntario Global in the media, Voluntario Global events (fundraising, weekend activities, etc)
- We are open to your suggestions on how to promote Voluntario Global too!
Minimum Stay

Availability
Tuesday to Friday (afternoon); 16 hours per week.
