Seeking enthusiastic volunteers interested in organizing food and beverage options for PurpleStride San Diego 2013!
Committee is responsible for:
- Arranging for breakfast, lunch, snacks and beverages depending on specific event needs
- Collaborating with the Sponsorship Committee to secure in-kind food and beverage donations.
- Coordinating the delivery and placement of food and beverages at the event site and along the route.
- Working with the Volunteer Committee to ensure that there is food and beverages at Volunteer Check-In.
- Obtaining and submitting contracts and invoices for all food and beverage related vendors to the Event Chair.
PurpleStride San Diego 2013 is an annual 5K Run/ 1 Mile walk event hosted by the local affiliate of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. PurpleStride events nationwide contribute millions of dollars toward the mission of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network to advance research, support patients and create hope. Funds raised help provide personalized support for patients and support research grants and advocacy efforts to increase federal pancreatic cancer research funding.
