Konoin Youth Center is raising awareness in Konoin community about Environmental Conservation and promoting Organic Farming program in the community.
We welcome Volunteers who will work in this program with an objective of studying and gaining a hands-on experience while helping youths, farmers & the local people into issues such as Environmental protection, Resource management and Sustainable organic farming (teaching on making a compost pit etc) in Konoin. Our ultimate aim will be to improve the quality of rural life of youths, local farmers as well as the entire community.
Organic farming is becoming the essential needs of time which provides long-term benefits to people and the environment. Organic farming works in harmony with nature rather than against it. This involves using techniques to achieve good crop yields without harming the natural environment or the people who live and work in it. To promote environmental conservation works & Organic Farming in Konoin, the volunteer will work hand in hand with youths, the local farmers, leaders, and the learning institutions. This will provide the volunteer with an opportunity to learn more about organic farming, experience rural/ typical African lifestyles, culture and languages.
