Research Institute Without Walls (RIWW) is the only not for profit in the world whose focus is the mental health impact in LGBT persons of human rights violations.
In the U.S. we conduct research and training on the mental health needs of LGBT refugees and asylum seekers who flee anti-gay persecution.
In other countries we collaborate with local LGBT groups to document the mental health impact of human rights violations. Research that demonstrates the mental health damage caused by LGBT human rights violations can be used in advocacy and policy efforts to change anti LGBT laws and policies.
RIWW is looking for volunteer consultants with expertise in marketing, branding, and copywriting to help us get our message across. Help us get out the message on LGBT refugees and their mental health needs.
Volunteering can be done off site and with flexible hours. We are asking for a minimum commitment of 3 months.
