Volunteer Opportunity description

Literacy Tutors have the opportunity to tutor adult English as a Second Language (ESL) students as they develop their English language skills. Volunteers work either in small groups or individually with students. Free required training is provided, including 12 hours of ESL training through Literacy Works and ongoing observation of staff instructors and experienced volunteers. Volunteers can network with fellow volunteers at the Department's quarterly in-service trainings and through other supplemental trainings offered by Literacy Works.

Come and teach ESL if you are interested in pursuing a degree in Education, Not-for-Profit Organization, or if you are simply into helping others in your neighborhood. Great Resume Builder!
