Schedule: Ongoing opportunity. Mondays & Wednesdays from 9:00am to 12:00pm. Schedule is flexible.
Location: Booth Family Services, 1215 Fulton Street East, Grand Rapids MI 49503
Supervisor: Becky Velthouse, Social Worker
Description: Volunteers are needed to assist with various administrative tasks at the clinic. Tasks include:
Number of volunteers needed: 1
Qualifications/ training: 18 years old or older. Volunteers must complete a background check and receive Safe from Harm training (this is a brief online training course that prepares volunteers to work with children. It takes approximately 30-40 minutes to complete).
About Booth Clinic: Booth Clinic is a health clinic for prenatal and ongoing family health care in partnership with Cherry Street Health Services. Booth Clinic consists of a team of providers including physicians, nurses, social workers, and other community partners to ensure that babies are delivered healthy and stay healthy in their early years, and that young mothers are supported in this process through traditional and creative approaches.
