Volunteer Opportunity description

Help squash barriers to academic success! One of the most important components of our program is the weekly homework assistance our students receive. Our volunteers are vital to the success of this program as they provide individual attention to our students and help with their evening assignments. Volunteers work with 1-2 6th-12th grade students at a time on their assigned homework under the supervision of our academic directors.

Volunteers must feel comfortable tutoring all or nearly all subjects for the grade they work with. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate subject-specific tutors but academic staff are happy to work with volunteers to provide all the necessary information.

How to apply

Volunteers must commit to at least 1 session per week. New volunteers are required to attend an orientation. To apply, please fill out the application on our website.
