The Phinney Neighborhood Association (PNA) Village, is a program providing a network of helpers, healthy home services, information and referrals, and community building activities for older adults living at home.
We have a volunteer opportunity to research expanding our catchment area (the area in which people can become members and recieve services).
Do we have the correct catchment area for our village or is it time to consider expanding the catchment area into nearby communities?
Seeking individual(s) who would be interested in investigating the pros and cons of catchment area expansion. This would entail reviewing older villages for indicators that they may have used to determine when it was appropriate to expand their catchment areas. Was the expansion successful or not? Also of interest would be the success of villages which have begun with large catchment areas or have used the "hub and spoke" model.
Research would be used as a basis to evaluate and plan for future expansion of the PNA Village if warranted.
