For our Summer Camp we are looking for dynamic and energetic individuals who would contribute their special skills and talents to provide enriching, educational, and fun activities for refugee students.
July 8-August 6; Monday – Thursday 11:00AM-2:30PM
Summer Program Volunteers will assist Summer Camp Leaders with management and supervision of middle school refugee children. These activities will include Movie Club, Reading Club, Games, Field Trips and Special workshops (photography course, baking course, yoga, soccer, PowerPoint workshop, Art, Crafts)
Responsibilities:
- Assist Camp Leaders with class management
- Create positive atmosphere in the classroom and help students with their tasks
- Serve students snacks and refreshment
- Build relationships with the students
Requirements:
- Experience working with children
