Environmental education event staff are needed for an upcoming performance at the Crouse Hinds Theater at The Oncenter in Syracuse on January 24th. We are offering three (3) paid positions at $10/hour to work this show from approximately 1-7 pm.
We are looking for volunteers, ages 18 and over, to help bring age-appropriate, positive environmental messages to pre-school aged children and their families attending these shows. To sign up, please email volunteer@reverb.org with the subject "Paid Event Staff - Syracuse".
Volunteers will:
- Meet one hour before doors open to receive training and assignments (shifts end after intermission)
- Receive and wear a complimentary volunteer t-shirt
- Interact with young children and their families to oversee and explain each activation/game and distribute hand stamps to those who participate
- Sign parents up to win prizes and share environmental messages
This is a great opportunity to spread positive environmental messages to some of the youngest music fans in a fun way! No experience is required, but if you've worked with children before, please let us know. We do have some tickets available for volunteers' families.
