Volunteer Opportunity description

Boston By Foot is seeking volunteer guides with a passion for history and architecture!

Boston By Foot is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting public awareness of Boston's rich historical and architectural heritage by offering a wide range of guided walking tours.

As one of over 200 trained walking tour guides, you will be certified to lead walking tours through Boston's North End, Back Bay, Beacon Hill, Freedom Trail, and more!

New guides complete Boston By Foot's annual training program, scheduled for six Saturdays from April 13 through May 18, 2013. Led by distinguished professionals, this course traces Boston's history and architecture from 1630 to the present as well as providing you with everything else you need to know to lead informed, insightful, and exciting tours.
