The Outreach Coordinator position is an exciting opportunity to build your own professional network, create and grow partnerships in both the nonprofit and for profit communities, interact directly with clients and learn about the career development process. Role and Responsibilities:
The Outreach Coordinator charged with supporting WFO's career development programs to expand the reach of said programs and deepen relationships with clients. This position reports to the Manager, Build a Career Programs and is in charge with the following responsibilities:

Since 1995, Wardrobe for Opportunity (WFO) has worked in partnership with the community to assist low-income individuals in their efforts to "Find a Job, Keep a Job and Build a Career." WFO provides critical services that bridge the gap and equips low-income jobseekers with the tools they need to secure employment. Our programs empower the working poor with the skills they need to advance in the workplace. In partnership with community agencies and volunteers from across the Bay Area, WFO has helped over 20,000 clients to achieve economic well-being for themselves, their families and their communities.
Our office is small, fast-paced and high energy—making a great impact in the community. We have a vibrant office where many activities can happen at once. AmeriCorps VISTA (Volunteers in Service to America) provides full-time members to non-profit, faith-based and other community organizations, and public agencies such as Wardrobe for Opportunity to create and expand programs that ultimately bring low-income individuals and communities out of poverty. AmeriCorps VISTA members leverage human, financial, and material resources to increase the capacity of low-income communities across the country to solve their own problems. You must complete the 2 step application procedure and be available to attend the all-expenses paid AmeriCorps VISTA Pre-Service Orientation (PSO) from April 16 - 19, 2013.
