As a PR intern you will take on a variety of tasks in the Public Relations Department which manages all public relations activity and contact with the press for news and coverage of Project HEAL.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Pitching stories to news outlets
- Liasing with celebrity publicists regarding appearances
- Event Planning
- Reporting
- Handle other responsibilities and projects, as assigned
Qualifications
- A passion for Project HEAL and desire to help its growth
- Must be able to commit to 5 to 10 hours a week
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to work autonomously
- Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups and other groups, internally and externally
- Be flexible, ability to adapt to changing priorities and multiple tasks
