Alzheimer's disease affects more than 5 million Americans of every race, gender and culture and costs our nation more than $148 billion a year. Unless we find a way to change the course, as many as 16 million Americans could have the disease by 2050.
The Walk to End Alzheimer's is a non-competitive fund raising and awareness walk designed to support the mission of the Alzheimer's Association. Volunteers like YOU are needed to make this year's San Francisco Walk a success! The event takes place on Saturday, September 17 at our new location , Ft. Mason the Great Meadow in San Francisco. Volunteers are needed the day of the event to help with parking, registration, course monitoring and cheerleading, and many other tasks. Community service hours are available!
Won't you consider donating one day to help change the course of a terrible disease?
