Domestic and Sexual Assault Hotline Advocate

Every day, hundreds of calls pour into The Houston Area Women's Center Hotline. In fact, we answer over 43,000 crisis calls per year. Volunteers play an essential role in ensuring each caller can receive help, guidance and support from a compassionate hotline advocate. Our Hotline advocates assist with crisis intervention, arrange shelter, give referrals, schedule appointments, assist with safety planning, and provide an empathic ear to callers in need of support.

We are currently recruiting for Volunteer Hotline Advocates for day shifts Monday through Friday.
