Become an ESL Mentor!
Give the gift of English! Westchester Community College is looking for
a group of dynamic volunteers to help residents of our county learn
English. As an ESL Mentor, you will help these adult learners practice
their English at WCC's Valhalla campus and out in the community.
WCC has an immediate need for ESL Mentors to facilitate conversations
with adult ESL students on Tuesday & Thursday evenings from 6:30-
7:30 p.m., on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:30 p.m. or on Saturdays
and Sundays from 12:30-2:30 p.m.
Can you spare 2 hours a week to give the gift of English this summer? If

The English Language Institute in partnership with the Westchester Hispanic
Coalition is one of several Neighborhood Opportunity Centers funded through New
York State's Office for New Americans. The Neighborhood Opportunity Centers
provide ESL instruction and naturalization application assistance to eligible
residents of the county.
