SHORT VISITING PROGRAMMES IN GHANA

Short-term volunteer opportunities with Prime Care Network in Ghana are really becoming more interesting with the rise of Voluntourism. Many tourists visiting Ghana, now wish to spend some of their vacation in a more enriching way, by helping local communities or being involved in conservation efforts. If you're traveling with a group of people and want to do some volunteer work you can get in touch with us. We consider any service less than six months to be short-term.

We invite your school or organized group to visit and work with us.
We are looking for interested groups of high school students, church youth groups, senior groups, or other organized groups to come and work with us for periods of a week or more. These short-term volunteers will get the chance to explore Ghanaian Cultures and visiting eco-tourist destinations in the country. This would be a unique and rewarding experience that you will remember for a life-time. Most importantly, you will be helping us provide caring and better education for orphans and street children, build an orphanage home, renovating old school buildings and furnished. Short-term volunteers fly into Accra usually spend the night in Accra at a B & B before being transfer bus ride to the next day to the project sites. Please contact us for information about airport pick-up service e.t.c. Short term volunteers will pay for their stay at a hotel of choice, transport within the country, food, site seeing charges and registration fees for signing-up with Prime Care Network. Contact us with size of your group and duration of stay to enable us provide you with your billing information to cover your stay in Ghana.

Fund a Project
Projects are a great way for individuals, schools, colleges, universities, and other organized groups to get involved by fundraising to support a project. Best of all, you or your group can then travel, live and work in Ghana to make the dream a reality.

Sponsor a Project by Providing Funding !
We are always in need of improving and expanding for the future. If you or your group cannot travel to Ghana to assist, we greatly appreciate any funding you can provide towards our projects which we will ensure are completed on your behalf. Please email us directly for estimated costs so that you may donate or fund raise to accurately cover the costs of sponsoring and completing a project. Some projects that we currently need help with include: Build an orphanage home in kasoa, building a better library; adding new classrooms to accommodate our growth; landscaping; painting our classrooms; making repairs to our street children school; organization.

Specialized Volunteers / Administrative Coordinator Volunteers
If you will be visiting our area and would like to see our orphans/street children school and volunteer for a day or a few days, we just might have a spot for you! Depending on present availability and needs, you may be able to present something educational to the orphans/street kids. Lead a lesson on a topic you know well, teach a valuable skill, or discuss educational. We're open to new ideas that enrich our orphans' education. Sometimes we need help with reorganizing and re-shelving library books, lawn and plant care for our playground area, general maintenance of the school, or technical needs of our equipment. We also from time to time, have projects that require additional resources to carry out such as marketing and advertising and help with organizing the upcoming school year. Administrative volunteers are needed from time to time, who would focus on non-teaching administrative duties.
