Deputy Director, Young Professionals Middle East Committee:
Summary: The Young Professionals Middle East Committee is seeking a Deputy Director. The Deputy Director will assist the Director with upcoming events and activities. YP Committees plan several events per year targeted at Young Professionals. Events include speakers panels, networking opportunities, and our annual International Career Dinners. This is a Volunteer Opportunity.
Position Responsibilities:
- Assist the Director in managing the committee and planning events
- Attend monthly committee leadership meetings and the YP Board of Directors meeting
- Additional responsibilities may include: member recruitment, communications, and committee development
Position Requirements:
- Membership in UNA-NCA
- Maintain regular contact with committee leaders and leaders of Young Professionals
- Commit to a maximum of 5 hours per week for a minimum of 3 months
- Ability to attend events and meetings in Washington DC
Previous leadership or event planning experience required.
