Volunteer Opportunity description

Preservation of the Leopard's Hill caves in Lusaka

Lusaka March 31 - April 13, 2013

This international volunteer project will be hosted in the capital city of Zambia. The Leopard's Hill caves are a historic place giving a glimpse into the past of the people who lived in this city before the 18th century. Volunteers will be involved with the preservation of the site.

The project will focus on encouraging city kids to enjoy and appreciate heritage sites found within their locality.

Study theme: The main study theme for this camp will be education and leisure. How heritage tours can become an extra curricula activity for city schools.
