Volunteer Opportunity description

The Forest Explorer is a travelling interactive exhibit designed to bring the forest to any school or event! The Forest Explorer, an exhibit of the National Forest Association, allows visitors to experience the sights, sounds and smells of the forest while participating in the activities that demonstrate basic principles of our forest ecosystem.

Be a part of the Forest Explorer Team! Volunteers are being sought to help with all aspects of delivering the Forest Explorer including:

The delivery and set-up of the Forest Explorer

Provision of interpretive services for Forest Explorer visitors

Delivery of environmental education curriculum to students

Administrative support

Promotion of forest stewardship through volunteer and responsible recreation opportunities
