As part of this course, you will be asked to:
Volunteers will receive training in classroom management, lesson planing, and subject-specific teaching techniques, and a staff member is always on-site to support volunteers during classes, if needed.
Teaching is one of the most rewarding ways to contribute to your community, because you can see the measurable results in the classroom and in your students' lives. By working to improve the education of your students, you automatically improve their employment chances, their likelihood of making a living wage, and the futures of their children.
