Volunteer Opportunity description

Are you into the entertainment, film, television, and arts industry?

Do you have a passion for making connections in the community?

Love being the eyes, ears, voice, and face in the community?

Want to make a difference in your community or bring about social/political change?

Then we are looking for you!

Collaborate with the National and State Project Managers on outreach efforts for theHuman First Film Challenge (HFFC) to:

  • Be creative! Have Fun! Think outside of the box!
  • Lead a team of up to 12 Research Assistants and Outreach Specialists for your assigned city.
  • Increase community participation in HFFC by informing, engaging, and educating the public.
  • Ensure at least 40 video submissions for your city/metro area, as part of a total of 5,700 submissions.
    (The crowdsourced documentary Life in a Day received 80,000 submissions!)

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have compassion for and a strong desire to transform the lives of children and families.

• 0-2 years experience as Team Leader, Manager, Supervisor, or Project Manager.

• Sales, marketing, outreach, or public relations experience a plus

• Proven skills to work independently, be self motivated, and goal-directed. • Ability to communicate effectively with Coalition leaders, sponsors, and the community. • Possess keen analytical ability and interpersonal communication.
