Literacy Volunteers of Greater Worcester is seeking volunteer tutors. Volunteers attend an 18 hour, 6 session training, which prepares them to tutor an adult that is learning English. After the training, volunteer tutors work one-on-one to help an adult gain language proficiency. Only through attaining English language literacy in spoken and written word can adult learners become independent, contributing members of our society.
Our next training begins on April 3rd at 6:30 pm. Volunteers must attend all training sessions prior to tutoring. Please contact us for more information.
