Would you like to put your telephone skills to use for humanitarian purposes?
We have recently launched a Church Outreach Program to connect and serve with churches that are actively involved with international development projects. The purpose of the program is to identify and work with congregations with an international ministry focus and support their work by providing equipment solutions.
As a volunteer you will be directly outreaching to church mission committees, pastors and administrators and introducing IMEC programs helping US-based churches achieve their mission. You'll work from our database using slaesforce.com CRM. While doing this you'll be helping the poor and vulnerable in the developing world. This is a part time volunteer position, 1-2 days per week, 5-9 hours per week.
IMEC volunteers fulfill a job that is critical to enabling IMEC to serve the poor and vulnerable in the developing world. Your involvement is literally saving lives and transforming communities around the world.
IMEC is a nonprofit organization, headquartered in North Andover, Massachusetts. We work with US-based hospitals and healthcare providers to recover their surplus medical equipment and supplies and repurpose it to impoverished hospitals and clinics in developing countries. Over the past 17 years, we have upgraded and equipped over 800 facilities in over 85 countries.
IMEC is a 501(C) (3), volunteer-based, non-profit organization established in 1995, registered with USAID
IMEC's mission is to transform impoverished communities around the world. We provide equipment solutions for health care, agriculture, and education projects in developing countries. We work in collaboration with other humanitarian organizations, governments, churches, faith-based groups and individuals.
