Duties: 1.Volunteers for Community development need to teach English Language and Basic computer skills which will lead the backward Tribal children for a self supported esteemed life in future. 2.Female Volunteers needs to take care of the Tribal girls' health, time to time and to teach them the basic hygiene to maintain when living in a community. Volunteers have to pay visits to the local community to interact and to ensure that they are not outskirts, rather more precious because of their innocence and talents.

Qualities needed for volunteering: 1. English Language is must. 2. Highly motivated to serve among the poorest in adverse climatic conditions. 3. Attitude of oneness with others. 4. Some experience in the relevant fields but freshers are also equally welcomed. 5. Must be competent to bear his or her individual traveling and living expenses. If required there will be a training, interaction and cross cultural feedback session for the volunteers before the porgram starts.

Duration: starting from 1 month to 3 months minimum.

Costs: A person flying from London to Calcutta and back by British Airways included tax costs about $1200 ( Approximately depending upon the company) please take the current information from the travel agents. $10 (Approximately) for daily food. $100 per month (Approximately) for house rent. Personal expenses includes, telephone charges, personal traveling, emergency medicines etc.

Location: Village Keshiary is located 140 Kms away from Calcutta through Kharagpur. Calcutta is the Capital City of West Bengal and the former Capital of British India, Its situated on the eastern bank of river Hooghly and a metro city has got an ethnic but yet modern look, it is the "City of Joy" being blessed by the spirit of Mother Teresa, this is the most important city in the whole Eastern and North Eastern India., it can be reached either by air or train or car from any part of India. It has got Bus, taxi, Metro and Circular Railway services to join the four corners of it. There are enough possibilities to arrange rented houses and hotels for any type of visitors. This city has got all amenities to suite all types of wallet. Kharagpur is a historicaly famous Railway and trade centre.

Program location is in Keshiary Village in District West Midnapore, 140 Kms away from Kolkata through Kharagpur, which is about 3 hours distant from the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International airport Dumdum, Calcutta and about 2 and half hours distant from the Howrah Railway Station by train and bus. which costs between $6 to $9 maximum
